But, if featured category is selected, it won't appear in latest news, or in either the lower left and lower right columns, because featured overrides those two. Carousel posts automatically make thumbnails. LOL NAILS! But only makes them if you save and then upload the picture. If you just remote link the picture, I don't think it does it. Full story
