Over a year ago Hoover police arrested a man for drug trafficking after finding 10 kilos of cocaine hidden inside a secret compartment of a Porsche 911. Now that the man was found guilty and sent to prison the car was turned over to the Hoover police. After a few hours in the shop, a new coat of paint, a new light bar, and a fancy spoiler, the once humble 911 is now a police cruiser. The police also added a “SEIZED” decals on the windows and “911 Never Forget” on the side panels. No other modifications were made to the Porsche, just a face lift. The Hoover police department plans to use the car for publicity, as a crime deterrent, showing youth how “fast cash” can get you in a lot of trouble.

So watch out the next time you’re driving through Alabama, or you might wind up with this cruiser behind you!

According to several gaming news sites, publisher Capcom will be releasing a new series of game-themed “Unity” debit cards.

The co-branded Visa debit card is the first of its kind in North America. The cards will feature art from Street Fighter IV, Resident Evil 5 and Bionic Commando.

The pre-paid cards will also let gamers earn points on Capcom-Unity.com, cash back from online or retail purchases and earn “accelerated rewards” through the online Capcom rewards mall…

Unity card holders will also be able to “jump the line” at Capcom events or gatherings, gain access to Beta tests and other things like “being written into a Capcom game or comic book or possibly even being an extra in a Capcom movie.

The cards actually look pretty damn cool. Except, it’s not so cool when you have a $5 monthly fee and a set-up charge.

The Turritopsis Nutricula is able to revert back to a juvenile form once it mates after becoming sexually mature.

Marine biologists say the jellyfish numbers are rocketing because they need not die.

Dr Maria Miglietta of the Smithsonian Tropical Marine Institute said: “We are looking at a worldwide silent invasion.”

The jellyfish are originally from the Caribbean but have spready all over the world.

Turritopsis Nutricula is technically known as a hydrozoan and is the only known animal that is capable of reverting completely to its younger self.

It does this through the cell development process of transdifferentiation.

Scientists believe the cycle can repeat indefinitely, rendering it potentially immortal.

While most members of the jellyfish family usually die after propagating, the Turritopsis nutricula has developed the unique ability to return to a polyp state.

Having stumbled upon the font of eternal youth, this tiny creature which is just 5mm long is the focus of many intricate studies by marine biologists and geneticists to see exactly how it manages to literally reverse its aging process.
